Announcing the 3rd Monthly Bellydance Workshop featuring Improvisational Tribal Style with Amara Duende and now including Bollywood Style Dance with Zoria Kali!

The Learning for Life Center/The People's school welcome Amara and Zoria of Kansas City's Troupe Duende for the 3rd of a series of monthly bellydance workshops!
Whether you have never danced before, or you are a seasoned dancer, you will find that Amara's workshops are a lot of fun, a great workout and truly inspirational! With her enthusiastic, open and encouraging teaching style, Amara will lead us through cues, combos, techniques and tips in this earthy and soulful style of bellydance. Participation in the 2 previous workshops is not required. Each workshop will cover new and different material.

One of Zoria's favorite sayings is "feel the burn"! But, she promises to have mercy on our muscles as she guides us through a fun and exciting exploration of this lively dance form. Bollywood is a fusion style of dance, with roots in traditional Bhangra Indian dance and branches of modern influence like America's hip hop. You'll find that these exciting moves and grooves work very harmoniously with ITS style, too! In fact, Troupe Duende fans will be happy to hear that the Troupe uses lots of Bollywood and Bhangra in their flavoring of ITS!
Please note that these workshops are women AND MEN! No on-lookers please, only participants . . . everyone must dance!
